We are a third generation family run operation breeding Polled and Horned Hereford cattle in West Central Iowa. Our
grandfather W.F. Asmus purchased his first registered Hereford in September of 1923 and for the last 85 years we have
continued building on this foundation of registered Hereford cattle on the same farm in Western Iowa.
Over the years our goals have remained the same: to produce Hereford cattle that will produce in the pasture and perform in
the feedlot. Though our numbers are not nearly as large as they once were, we continue to strictly cull our cow herd in order
to continue genetic improvement. In 2009 we will see the fruits of our labor with calves from numerous proven & next

We invite you to browse through our web site and take a look at the Females and Herd Sires that we are so excited about. We
feel privileged to have made some significant additions to our herd over the last few years from Wiese and Sons, Ellis Farms,
Spencer Herefords and ET Polled Herefords. We feel that every one of the cows, heifers and bulls that we have added to our
herd can make significant contributions not only to our herd, but the Hereford breed as a whole. If you have any questions
